Fast Casual: SweetFrog Frozen Yogurt opens on US Army installation

The location will be owned by a U.S. Air Force veteran.

SweetFrog Frozen Yogurt will be opening its first store on military land in March of 2018. According to a recent article in Fast Casual, the location's franchisee, Tim Barber, is an Air Force veteran who served for 11 years.

"We see what's happening outside of the base regarding the popularity of frozen yogurt. SweetFrog is the best in the industry, and its name recognition is second to none. There are several sweetFrog locations in the area, so we know they're frequented by many military people, and bringing it directly to this closed population just makes sense for us," said Barber.

Barber was drawn to the 'community first' values of the brand. He believes that the installation will be popular with the military as it fulfills provides a unique food offering for the community.
