Fast Casual: Tropical Smoothie Cafe signs 26-unit deal

Tropical Smoothie Cafe will be opening several new locations in Texas and Georgia. According to a recent article in Fast Casual, the brand has signed an agreement with Dyne Hospitality Group to open 26 locations in the next few years. The first two are planned to open in Dallas-Fort Worth in early 2018.

"2017 was a year of incredible growth for us, as we significantly expanded Tropical Smoothie Cafe's presence in several markets across the country. With Glen Johnson and Nick Crouch joining forces and the execution of Dyne's 26-unit deal for new locations in Texas and Georgia, we're confident that we'll not only sustain but surpass, last year's success in 2018," said CEO Mike Rotondo.  

Dyne Hospitality Group currently owns over 40 Tropical Smoothie Cafe locations. It is composed of partners Glen Johnson and Nick Crouch, who have each been huge success stories for the company. The duo hopes to one day operate 100 locations.
