Fast Casual: Veterans Day Inspiring LTOs

Few weeks during the year are as eventful as this one is for America, with a presidential election on Tuesday and Veterans Day on Friday. Political beliefs aside, restaurants can agree on giving back to those who have served our country this Friday with many offering free meals or discounts. According to a recent Fast Casual article, many chains have decided to offer discounts and freebies in order to thank veterans and also drive a little extra business.

Here are a few of the offers being promoted by chains:

California Pizza Kitchen

Veterans and active military with proof of service can receive a free entrée from a select menu of pizza, salads, and pastas at the casual dinig restaurant. 

Back Yard Burgers

A free Back Yard classic burger will be offered to service members on Friday that are in uniform or bring in their military ID with them at Back Yard Burgers.

White Castle

Former and current service members will be offered a free breakfast combo meal or regular combo meal at participating White Castle stores this Friday.

Little Caesars Pizza

From 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on November 11 at Little Caesars, all United States Armed Forces active military and veterans will receive a free lunch in the form of a $5 Hot-n-Ready lunch combo.
