According to&nbsp;<a href="https://bit.ly/2sPkSiV?utm_source=1851franchise.com&utm_medium=article&utm_campaign=fast-casual-wahlburgers-ceo-resigning-cfo-to-take-the-lead-2706799" target="_blank" rel="nofollow" style="color:rgb(17, 85, 204)" target="_blank">a recent article in Fast Casual</a>, the brand&#39;s CFO, Patrick Renna, will step into the role of interim CEO. He will be replacing Rick Vanzura, who served in the role for over six years.

&quot;I&#39;d also like to thank our staff, franchisees, vendors and our incredible group of managers and crew that bring this awesome brand to life every day in our restaurants. I will always be available to help them any way I can, and I know the business is in very good hands with Patrick,&quot; said Vanzura.

Renna had previously served as CEO of&nbsp;Boloco. In addition to the experience, his resume includes&nbsp;time as CFO for brands including Wahlburgers and Alma Nove.
