Fast Casual: Wahlburgers CEO resigning, CFO to take the lead

Wahlburgers has announced a change in leadership. According to a recent article in Fast Casual, the brand's CFO, Patrick Renna, will step into the role of interim CEO. He will be replacing Rick Vanzura, who served in the role for over six years.

"I'd also like to thank our staff, franchisees, vendors and our incredible group of managers and crew that bring this awesome brand to life every day in our restaurants. I will always be available to help them any way I can, and I know the business is in very good hands with Patrick," said Vanzura.

Renna had previously served as CEO of Boloco. In addition to the experience, his resume includes time as CFO for brands including Wahlburgers and Alma Nove.
