Fast Casual: Wow Bao becomes 1st chain to leverage Eatsa technology

Wow Bao has refined its ordering process through the integration of technology. According to a recent article in Fast Casual, the brand's newest location has adopted a system where orders are picked up from cubbies that feature a screen to showcase the status of the order.

This new addition is intended to streamline the customer experience and comes as part of the company's efforts to embrace technology. The brand previously integrated kiosk ordering into its locations.

"When you ordered from the kiosk before, you're still dealing with an employee that's giving you the food. Now you're getting your food through a cubby. You're not getting someone who's frazzled to hand you the food. The hospitality factor has definitely increased," said president Geoff Alexander.

Wow Bao hopes that the cubbies will help boost mobile orders and increase the brand's growth momentum.
