Fazoli’s is feeling saucy. QSR reports that the company announced its 2018 highlights yesterday, which included opening the highest number of locations since 2012, setting a new record for weekly sales and more good news for the Italian-American fast casual chain.

The brand saw a 1.4 percent increase in sales at company locations, opened 10 restaurants and signed three new franchise agreements, according to the article. QSR reports that the 12 company locations that have already undergone Fazoli’s 2020 Remodeling Initiative saw 11 percent average sales growth in the first year. Three franchise locations have completed remodels so far, according to the article.

The article states that last year Fazoli’s yielded an incremental two percent of sales from an initial test run of third-party delivery methods, launched a successful rewards program and saw a positive response to limited time menu offerings, which are a key part of the brand’s strategy for growth.

QSR writes that Fazoli’s currently has 220 units across 28 states. The chain has also raised over $535,000 in cash and in-kind donations through a partnership with Feed the Children, said the article.
