To respect customers' personal space and limit unnecessary human interaction, Park has also led Footprints Floors' pivot to free virtual estimates on new projects, which launched on March 23. All the customer has to do is submit a request online or over the phone, schedule a time and prepare for the virtual estimate by ensuring they have a compatible smart device connected to FaceTime, Google Duo or Skype along with a measuring tape. The Footprints Floors consultant will help advise the customer on how to properly measure their floors and send an estimate as soon as it is ready.

“Footprints Floors’ main goal is to help its local community members make the most of their time at home with their families and finally tackle home-improvement projects that have been on the to-do list forever,” said Park. “Footprints Floors is taking additional precautions in order to prevent the spread of the virus, including improved cleaning and sanitizing procedures. Franchisees continue to maintain teams of two to three people and never more than ten, keeping with social distancing recommendations. We also mandated that employees who report an illness seek testing and self-quarantine.”

By pivoting operations, offering enticing customer deals and following health guidelines, Footprints Floors had a record-breaking March, which was shattered by an even better April, which saw an increase in sales of 164% from month-over-month.

Additionally, Footprints Floors added 25 new franchise locations during the first half of 2020, including three with existing franchisees. With this exciting momentum, Footprints Floors surpassed the impressive 50-franchise mark. The brand entered several new markets for the first time, including Indianapolis; Ogden, Utah; Cypress, Texas; Gastonia, North Carolina; Lavonia, Michigan; Gross Point, Michigan; Orlando; Asheville, North Carolina; Fort Worth, Texas; East Atlanta, Georgia; Nashville, Tennessee; and The Woodlands, Texas.
