However, as the brand expanded, the need for a dedicated training facility became evident. “About five years ago, we got our first office because we were starting to train franchisees from out of state. Prior to that, we were training people in my basement!”The brand’s first office was an 800-square-foot space that served its purpose for half a decade. However, as the company continued to scale, nearing 100 franchisees and 180 locations, Park recognized the need for something bigger and more representative of&nbsp;<a href="https://1851franchise.com/footprintsfloors/footprints-floors-reflects-on-a-landmark-year-sees-10-increase-in-revenue-2728295">Footprints Floors’ position in the industry.</a>“We’ve built it out and are now going to be moving in a few weeks,” Park said of the company’s new headquarters located at 327 Embernes Drive S., Englewood, Colorado. “This is a very big step up for us.”<h2>A State-of-the-Art Facility for Training and Growth</h2>The new 20,000-square-foot headquarters is a game-changer for Footprints Floors. It includes a 3,000-square-foot warehouse dedicated to hands-on franchisee training, a conference room, offices and a classroom for educational sessions. One of the most significant upgrades is the dedicated hands-on training facility, designed to enhance&nbsp;<a href="https://1851franchise.com/footprintsfloors/how-footprints-floors-supports-veteran-entrepreneurs-2727914">the franchisee learning experience</a>.“For the past five years, we’ve had franchisees install wood floors, tile and create 10x10 flooring panels to learn the process,” Park said. “The business model isn’t to teach these people how to be professional tradesmen, but from the beginning, we felt it was important for franchisees to see the process from end to end.”The facility will not only serve as a training center for new franchisees but will also provide ongoing education for existing franchisees looking to refine their skills.&nbsp;Additionally, the space positions Footprints Floors to host national flooring industry training events, further establishing the brand as a leader in the sector. “I’m excited to be able to partner with the flooring industry to host training for other people outside the brand,” Park said.<h2>A Community-Centered Approach</h2>Beyond business, Footprints Floors has long been committed to giving back - a value reflected in its&nbsp;<a href="https://www.fcnews.net/2022/12/footprints-floors-launches-the-first-fruits-fund/?utm_source=1851franchise.com&utm_medium=article&utm_campaign=footprints-floors-expands-into-new-headquarters-marking-a-major-milestone-in-brand-growth-2728708" target="_blank" rel="nofollow">First Fruits philanthropic initiative</a>, which aims to donates 25% of the company’s profits to nonprofits. That vision has now come to life, with the new facility also including a 350-seat theater. “We are really sharing a space, which will be awesome for the community.”<h2>A Decade-Long Commitment to the Future</h2>The move to this new space is a long-term investment in the future of Footprints Floors. “We’ve signed a 10-year lease, and we are planning to be here for a while,” Park said. “It’s really representative of where we are — five years ago, we didn’t know if franchising would work. Now, we have nearly 100 franchisees and 180 locations.
