That&#39;s why each year it ranks the best and worst franchises&nbsp;in order to help potential franchisees weigh the risks and rewards of joining the industry. This year, <a href="https://franchising.schoolofrock.com/?utm_source=1851-franchising&amp%3Butm_medium=1851-fran-article&amp%3Butm_campaign=1851-franchising&utm_source=1851franchise.com&utm_medium=article&utm_campaign=forbes-the-best-worst-franchises-to-buy-2018-2706913" target="_blank" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">School of Rock</a> made its debut on the list, ranked number two under the best Medium Investment Franchise Category.&nbsp;

The ranking is based on a&nbsp;FRANdata&nbsp;analysis of 3,300 active brands which are then narrowed to 60 brands. These final brands are then ranked best to worst in the following categories: system sustainability, system demand, value for investment, franchisor support and franchisor stability.&nbsp;
