They wanted a business opportunity they could do together that came with corporate support. They found all this in Hounds Town USA.Unlike some others in retirement, Kurt and Jen enjoy the idea of working together.&nbsp;“Jen and I have been battle tested; we have survived Katrina, Ida, and numerous other problems down here in New Orleans, and we still like each other, so that’s a good sign,” said Kurt.Regarding their own franchise, Kurt and Jen were encouraged that Hounds Town USA has protocols and procedures in place for franchise owners. They also liked that the founder, Mike Gould, was one of the pioneers of the NYPD’s K-9 unit and truly understands the psychology of dogs.
