The Cleaning Authority, a national residential cleaning franchise, has launched its Hometown Market initiative to help area veterans become business owners.

The company's unique model has allowed them to accrue a customer base of 90,000 in larger markets, but the brand wanted to adjust this model to fit smaller communities. The Hometown Market program does that, while rewarding potential franchisees with a proven military record.

The Cleaning Authority’s vice president of development Iric Wexler tells BPT Online that the brand is targeting vets because of their experience with "discipline and an understanding of structure. They have been trained and have developed skills to becoming great leaders. That's what our business is."

Through the program military vets can purchase a franchise with no money down, reduced franchise fees and financing directly from the company. They can also receive more discounts through the VetFran program, making start-up costs significantly lower.

Franchises in the area are available immediately, and candidates can contact The Cleaning Authority to become owners in about twelve weeks.

"Candidates, at that point, are educated on the company's business model before validating with existing franchisees,” Wexler said.
