Franchise Times: WORKOUT ANYTIME Celebrates Milestone 100th Unit Opening

In the booming fitness segment of franchising, WORKOUT ANYTIME* recently passed the 100-unit mark with its opening in Bardstown, Kentucky.

The Atlanta-based chain has been growing westward with the help of franchising industry veterans like franchisee Trey Hornsby, who held positions with YUM! Brands and Zoe's Kitchen before opening WORKOUT ANYTIME.

The 24/7 gym focuses on value for its customers and a business model that lends itself to growth for franchisees. In fact, 60 percent of WORKOUT ANYTIME's franchisees are multi-unit owners.

“If the other players in our space are at 1,000-3,000 locations, we feel that going from our current 110 clubs to 600 over the next five years is within reach,” COO Mark de Gorter told the publication.

The company has also turned focus to community outreach through their involvement with LF22, a veterans support community.
