The Pretzel Bacon Cheeseburger initially made the return to menus this summer as a limited-time offer. Due to its popularity it will have a permanent place on menu. (Entrepreneur) The IFA is Taking on Seattle’s New Wage Law The International Franchise Association (IFA) has turned to radio advertising in their battle over Seattle’s new wage laws. The advertisements focus on how the law undermines the franchise model. The Seattle law recognizes franchises as large out-of-state businesses and not as small locally-owned businesses. This would make the franchises adopt the $15 minimum wage in three years.(PizzaMarketPlace.com) Cinnabon Offers New Concept Cinnabon, Inc. is testing a new concept called the Bon Bake Shop in Houston. The first store will open in mid-September and will feature smaller bite-sized items than the traditional Cinnabon store. The store will also allow for more flavor and topping options.
