The Toronto-based healthy-food franchise Freshii announced that it will be partnering with several Walmart Canada locations &ldquo;in its first partnership with a major grocer,&rdquo; according to an article in <a href="https://business.financialpost.com/news/retail-marketing/freshii-to-sell-food-in-grocery-stores-through-walmart-canada-partnership?utm_source=1851franchise.com&utm_medium=article&utm_campaign=freshii-announces-partnership-with-walmart-canada-2709265" target="_blank" rel="nofollow" style="text-decoration-line:none" target="_blank">Financial Post</a>. 

The brand reported a net loss of $483,000 for Q4, the article said. However, in terms of year-over-year earnings, &ldquo;Freshii says total revenue, which includes its franchised shops and its company-owned stores, totalled&nbsp;[sic] $5.65 million for the quarter, up from $4.85 million a year earlier,&rdquo; according to the article.

Fast-casual Freshii offers burritos, wraps, bowls, smoothies and frozen yogurt. The partnership with Walmart will rely on packaged to-go meals, the article said.
