Starbucks has officially opened its fourth roastery location—and first with a cocktail bar—in New York City, according to an article in Nation’s Restaurant News.

The location will be “the largest coffee roasting plant in Manhattan,” according to Starbucks via NRN. “The coffee chain’s 23,000-square-foot upscale café megaplex will open on Dec. 14, featuring a scoop shop of artisan coffee beans from around the world, an in-house bakery from Princi, and Starbucks’ first-ever cocktail bar, where mixologists will serve classic cocktails and drinks using Starbucks coffee and tea,” the article said.

According to the article, “The design of each Starbucks Roastery—with locations in Seattle, Shanghai, and Milanis inspired by its home city.” The Meatpacking District-based roastery “will feature systems of ‘symphony pipe’ tubes where beans will be transported, as a nod to the city’s subway system,” the article said.
