<a href="http://www.lubysinc.com/?utm_source=1851franchise.com&utm_medium=article&utm_campaign=fuddruckers-parent-company-lubys-inc-names-new-coo-2708282" target="_blank" rel="nofollow" style="text-decoration-line:none" target="_blank">Luby&rsquo;s Inc.</a>, parent company to several brands including burger franchise <a href="http://www.lubysinc.com/franchising/?utm_source=1851franchise.com&utm_medium=article&utm_campaign=fuddruckers-parent-company-lubys-inc-names-new-coo-2708282" target="_blank" rel="nofollow" style="text-decoration-line:none" target="_blank">Fuddruckers</a>, has named Benjamin &ldquo;Todd&rdquo; Coutee its new chief operations officer, <a href="https://www.qsrmagazine.com/news/todd-coutee-named-coo-lubys?utm_source=1851franchise.com&utm_medium=article&utm_campaign=fuddruckers-parent-company-lubys-inc-names-new-coo-2708282" target="_blank" rel="nofollow" style="text-decoration-line:none" target="_blank">according to an article in QSR Magazine</a>. 

Coutee assumes the role immediately after a long career with the company serving in various executive roles with the brands under its umbrella, including senior VP of Operations at both&nbsp;Luby&#39;s Cafeterias and Fuddruckers. He has also served as an executive director of operations for Aramark.

Earlier this year, the company revealed it defaulted on some of its $44 million debt load and was in danger of going out of business.
