With an expansive menu, chill atmosphere and the coolest people on earth, it’s no wonder the franchise has a completely obsessed fanbase.

According to a recent study, Fuzzy’s Taco Shop is not only chill—it’s also the bomb.
For real, a recent guest survey conducted by the brand found that the most dedicated fans visit Fuzzy’s Taco Shop 67 times per year. Slightly less avid fans visit 23 times a year—basically every two weeks.
What’s up with this cult-like following?
“We have some seriously hardcore fans,” confirmed Laura Purser, Fuzzy’s Vice President of Marketing. “We have the kind of food you can’t get other places, and people crave it, so they come to us.”
Indeed, the food is, in large part, what has brainwashed these innocent citizens.
From tacos to salads to nachos to burritos to quesadillas to enchiladas to fajitas (phew!), Fuzzy’s menu rolls deep. Plus, there’s a pretty stellar kids’ menu. “Fuzzy’s is that go-to place for the whole family,” said Purser. “If Mom wants a salad, Dad wants a burrito, and the kids want quesadillas and tacos, everybody’s full and happy.”
Fuzzy’s also has a clutch bar with beer and margaritas served in big ol’ frosty schooners—setting the franchise up as a full-experience hang zone on the weekends. Most other taco places are grab-and-go, but at Fuzzy’s, you can chill for the long haul.
“A lot of fast casual restaurants see a drop-off around dinner time, but Fuzzy’s stays lively all day and night,” said Purser. “When you go to a production-line-style restaurant, your experience can feel functional. At Fuzzy’s, it’s much more chill. We encourage people to take their time, catch up with each other and stick around for another beer.”
The low-key atmosphere makes it easy to lose track of time. Swapping frills for good vibes, Fuzzy’s attracts the shorts and tees and off-the-clock suits crowds alike. And the regular guests wearing those clothes gravitate toward that kind of environment.
“Our team members laugh with the guests and really get to know people,” said Purser. “Considering many come in 23 to 67 times a year, we see quite a few regulars. They’re coming for the food and atmosphere, but also to say ‘hi’ to their favorite bartender or server. Our servers can make some awesome recommendations, by the way.”
The team members’ killer sense of humor doesn’t hurt, either. “If you’re going to wear a shirt that says ‘Grab Summer by the Schooner,’ you’ll have to have a little edge to you as well,” said Purser. “We’re a fun place to be.”
Oh, and did we forget to mention Fuzzy’s serves breakfast all day? We’re talking tacos and burritos made-to-order with freshly cracked eggs, bacon, chorizo and potato.
“For me, that’s the coolest part of working here. I’m big into breakfast tacos,” agreed Purser. “You can even get them with shrimp, which is something you’d never think to try, but then you can’t get them out of your head. Plus, there’s the Butt Burnin’ Hot Sauce that makes everything taste even better.”
Yes, you read that right. You’re still hungry though, aren’t you?
