Franchisee Merrick McKinnie has signed a deal for six Charlotte<a href="https://1851franchise.com/fuzzystacoshop"> Fuzzy's</a> locations and 12 across the state.“We jumped out pretty quickly,” McKinnie told the Charlotte Business Journal. “We do want to get our footing after opening three so quickly, but we’re also looking across Charlotte to find some locations.”McKinnie is not worried about acquiring customers due to the built-in following the fast-casual Mexican chain has.“As we have evolved as a franchisor over the past 15 years, we have started to attract multi-unit, multi-brand franchisees, and McKinnie is a great, shining example of that,” said Michael Mabry, Fuzzy’s Taco Shop Chief Development Officer. “He sits on our franchise advisory council and we value his experience in seeing other brands grow and his willingness to share his knowledge of the franchise business.”After moving into the surrounding Charlotte suburbs, Fuzzy’s Taco Shop is seeking franchisees to extend the footprint across North Carolina.Read the full article <a href="https://www.bizjournals.com/charlotte/news/2019/09/03/texas-taco-concept-eyes-additional-locations-in.html?utm_source=1851franchise.com&utm_medium=article&utm_campaign=charlotte-business-journal-texas-taco-concept-eyes-additional-locations-in-charlotte-market-2711730" target="_blank" rel="nofollow">here</a>.
