Young tennis all star Leylah Fernandez has partnered with Youth Athletes United to try and reach a million kids a year through sports.
In a recent interview with Global Franchise, professional tennis player Leylah Fernandez discussed how she will help fast-growing youth-sports franchisor Youth Athletes United accomplish its goal of reaching a million children through its various sports programs.
Fernandez, a US Open Finalist at the age of 19 and WTA tour title holder, will be involved with the brand through social media, digital platforms, personal appearances and local franchise activation. She will also play a role in helping Youth Athletes United introduce tennis to communities that have not been exposed to the sport.
Youth Athletes United, one of the largest youth sports franchisors, is the parent company behind youth sports franchises Amazing Athletes, TGA Premier Sports, JumpBunch, Soccer Stars and the recently acquired Little Rookies Baseball.
“I always had a dream to help the younger generation find their love for sports. I want to give kids that same feeling I had the first time I kicked a soccer ball, swung a baseball bat, or picked up my tennis racket. It was a beautiful moment for me and one I will always remember,” Fernandez said.
