Santiago de Chile, Chile - (January 6, 2022) - Little Caesars Pizza, the third largest pizza chain in the world,* continues its expansion in Latin America with plans to add 55 new restaurants in Chile by 2026. Since local franchisee Premier Caesars Chile opened the first restaurants in 2017, Little Caesars has quickly opened dozens of locations nationwide and the addition of the new stores over the next several years will bring the total to nearly 100 restaurants in Chile.

“We are extremely excited to work with Premier Caesars to continue the expansion of Little Caesars in Chile. Having an engaged and committed franchisee is critical to success, and we are seeing that with Premier Caesars,” says Marc DaSilva, vice president of international development. “Little Caesars strives to bring great tasting, affordable pizza to customers in each and every country we operate in, and we’re thrilled to see that customers in Chile have embraced the brand so well.”

Premier Caesars Chile is a part of Grupo Premier, a Mexican business group that includes restaurants, automotive agencies and construction. In 2013, Grupo Premier obtained the Little Caesars franchise in Mexico, opening its first store in December of that year. At the end of 2016, it obtained the country development rights to Little Caesars in Chile.

“We continue to experience great success as we open more Little Caesars locations both here in Chile, and also in Mexico,” says Mathias Rosenthal, co-founder and CEO of Premier Caesars Chile. “The business model and support from the corporate team has allowed us to scale the business and grow quickly. We’re very happy to be opening more than 50 additional stores and bring our great tasting pizza and additional jobs to Chileans across the country.”

The restaurant industry in the region represents almost $250 billion dollars, according to Invest Chile. In particular, restaurant chains represent about a third of sales in Chile. Additionally, according to the PMQ Magazine, Latin America is expected to see a 20 percent growth in the $132 billion worldwide pizza market.

“Little Caesars has an extensive presence in Latin America and we’re receiving a lot of interest from investors looking to develop other countries and territories throughout the region,” continued DaSilva. “Now is a great time to join us. We are also currently looking for franchisees interested in area developer agreements in Argentina, Brazil, Uruguay, Paraguay and Bolivia.”

Over the past few years, Little Caesars Pizza has grown its international presence with restaurants in Latin America, Europe, the Middle East, Canada, the Caribbean and Asia Pacific, opening restaurants in Colombia, Spain and Barbados. Little Caesars has ambitious plans to continue expanding the brand around the world and is actively seeking franchisees interested in joining this world-renowned brand. In 2022, Little Caesars will open its first restaurants in several new markets including Russia, Ecuador and the United Kingdom.
