BLUE BELL, Pa.  Griswold, a leading home care company providing compassionate, professional caregivers 24/7, is proud to announce a remarkable year of growth and expansion in 2024. With 22 new franchise awards signed through mid-November and 25 new territories added to its network, the brand has achieved significant milestones while continuing to make a meaningful impact on communities nationwide. In addition, the brand has helped facilitate five successful resales, ensuring continued growth and support for its franchise owners while strengthening its presence in key markets.

“From a development perspective, it has been very successful,” said Steven Turner, chief operating officer of Griswold. “We’ve awarded 22 new franchise agreements all over the United States. We’ve brought on veterans, families and entrepreneurs of all types. It’s been an incredible year for us — we are thrilled to welcome our new owners.”

Notably, California has been a standout market for Griswold in 2024, with six new franchise awards. The brand also celebrated its expansion into Nevada, marking its first-ever presence in the state. This geographic expansion underscores Griswold’s commitment to meeting the rising demand for high-quality in-home care across the country.

“It's been a phenomenal year across every aspect of the business,” said Michael Slupecki, CEO of Griswold. “What has been really exciting is the geographic expansion and the success that we’ve had growing the network, whether it be new sales or existing owners taking on new territories.”

Griswold’s growth is further bolstered by its strong relationships with franchisees and its ongoing focus on franchise satisfaction. “For the fifth consecutive year, we’ve improved our franchise satisfaction scores through FBR surveys. That gives great validation for those who want to join our brand,” Slupecki said.

In addition to franchise growth, Griswold achieved double-digit same-store sales increases, the strongest they have been in the past decade. The brand’s corporate-owned locations also enjoyed a record-breaking year.

“One of the contributing factors to success overall is our technology partnership with Zingage, which automates rewards and recognition for caregivers, positively impacting caregiver turnover,” Slupecki said. “We also launched a redesigned website and a new learning management system to support franchisees and caregivers alike.”

Griswold’s culture and support systems continue to attract passionate individuals to its franchise network. “Our owners are thrilled that we have great territories available, an amazing culture and all the tools they need to succeed,” Turner said. “People just love the culture here that was started by Jean Griswold and has continued for 43 years.”

The brand has also strengthened its commitment to serving veterans through a new exclusive partnership with Patriot’s Angels, providing in-home care to veterans. “Our interaction with the Veterans Administration has grown, and we are excited to expand our impact in this area,” Turner said.

Looking ahead, Griswold plans to build on this year’s momentum by awarding 22 additional franchise owners in key markets such as California, Alabama and Wisconsin. The brand is also focused on enhancing technology to improve client independence and safety at home. “We are trying to improve our tech-driven monitoring and care management,” Slupecki said. “The whole idea is to demonstrate with data how we positively impact the health of our clients.”

As Griswold celebrates an incredible 2024, it is poised for even greater achievements in 2025. “We always prioritize quality over quantity,” Slupecki said. “And with the amazing momentum we have, we’re optimistic about the future.”
