Hanover Mariner: DQ Grill & Chill Grows in Massachusetts

Ken Gainey is excited to bring the restaurant's variety menu to local town

A new DQ Grill & Chill location is set to open in Hanover, MA.

According to the Hanover Mariner, Franchisee Ken Gainey is confident that locals will be excited about the variety that the DQ Grill & Chill menu has to offer.

"Everyone around here is familiar with the chill side, but they're surprised by the grill side," Gainey told the Hanover Mariner.

The extended menu for the location, opening at 579 Washington St. in Hanover, will include options for everyone - from crispy chicken fingers to the classic frozen treats.

"Many people know Dairy Queen* from the treat business because of how it started over 76 years ago," International Dairy Queen, Inc. Vice President of Franchise Sales and Development Mike Mettler told the Hanover Mariner. "What people don't know is Dairy Queen has a strong history of treats and food."
