A recent Home Health Care News article announced that Amada Senior Care is now the exclusive in-home care provider for NFL Alumni. The franchise is run by former Chicago Bear Tafa Jefferson and will service the 5,000 former players, coaches, staffers, cheerleaders and family members currently in the association.

“I’ve always had an affinity for serving seniors, but, specifically, when we’re able to take care of some of these great players, it’s just an honor and a privilege,” Jefferson told Home Health Care News. “And the NFL is one of the strongest brands in the country, so whenever you can get that stamp of approval, it’s meaningful to any company.”

The franchise currently has locations in 40 states and opened its 100th location earlier this month. This partnership also connects Amada to the 22,000 retirees who may join NFL Alumni in the future. Jefferson is looking forward to expanding services to former pro athletes of all kinds and utilizing his knowledge to continue to provide better care for former athletes.
