Alair Homes is looking to continue the brand’s expansion in the United States and has set its sight on Texas, specifically Houston.

Last year, Alair launched five franchise units in Arizona. After the British Columbia-based residential and commercial contracting company broke into the U.S. they want to keep up the moment and continue expanding.

“Now that we’re in the U.S., we want to expand,” Adam McCaa, chief communication officer for Alair Homes, told the Houston Business Journal. “Texas as a state — Houston and Dallas in particular — are very high on our priority list.”

Alair Homes brings a different method for new home construction and remodeling projects. Using proprietary software, homebuyers are able to monitor the progress of the project and pay in stages at each milestone of the construction or remodel.

Currently, the brand is in talks with contractors, architects, and realtors as they look for local franchisees and a master franchisee for the Houston area.

“There are a lot of successful builders in Houston, but we believe even the most successful builders can be more successful,” McCaa told the Houston Business Journal. “It’s about finding the right people and the right fit for us.”

Alair Homes plans to have more than 20 franchise units operating in the Houston area and at least 100 units across Texas. The company is also looking toward the Southeast as they continue their U.S. expansion.
