Houston was recently ranked in the top 10 cities to open a quick service restaurant by industry publication QSR Magazine.&nbsp; 
 
The ranking, based on data collected by NPD Group, supports the goals of <a href="http://www.mooyahfranchise.com/?utm_source=1851franchise.com&utm_medium=article&utm_campaign=houston-chronicle-qsr-industry-grows-in-houston-10182" target="_blank" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">MOOYAH Burgers, Fries and Shakes</a> to add 15 to 25 restaurants in the Houston market in upcoming years.&nbsp; 
 
&quot;We feel the Houston market has a lot of similarities in demographics to our home market of Dallas-Fort Worth, where we currently have 23 units,&quot; Jordan Duran, director of franchise sales told the Houston Chronicle. &quot;It&#39;s a great fit for our brand because of its population, high household incomes and large family sizes.&quot; 
 
The ranking, based on data collected by NPD Group, supports the goals of <a href="http://rallysfranchising.com/?utm_source=1851franchise.com&utm_medium=article&utm_campaign=houston-chronicle-qsr-industry-grows-in-houston-10182" target="_blank" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">Checkers and Rally&#39;s</a> as it has plans to open more than 20 restaurants in the Houston market this year and&nbsp;supports the goals of <a href="http://www.smoothiekingfranchise.com/?utm_source=1851franchise.com&utm_medium=article&utm_campaign=houston-chronicle-qsr-industry-grows-in-houston-10182" target="_blank" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">Smoothie King</a> as it has plans to open 15 restaurants in the market in upcoming years.
