The decision to open a franchise is one that requires more than just capital. You also need a business plan that shows you can be successful in following a business model.

To open a franchise, you must first go through a franchise application. An initial franchise application can be found on a franchisor’s website or by contacting them. Upon receipt of the application, you will provide the franchisor with financial information and other questions that pertain to your future success in running your business.

When you speak to a franchisor about opening up a franchise, they’ll want information about your business plan, your access to capital to open a franchise and background information. Providing these detailed notes about your business plan and personal information will help the franchisor decide if it is a good fit for their company. The more information you are able to provide, and the more transparent you are, the smoother the process will flow.
