The International Franchise Association has announced a new strategic partnership with Bank of America Merrill Lynch. According to a recent release, the bank will now offer 401(k), other retirement solutions and educational tools focused on retirement benefits to the IFA’s members.

One of the biggest reasons for the new strategic partnership is the fact that Bank of America Merrill Lynch offers a Franchise Retirement Exchange. The program is specifically designed to help franchise brands meet their needs. Participating concepts will have access to exclusive pricing on retirement solutions for themselves and their employees. The program also offers financial advisors who specialize in franchising and retirement plans for small businesses as a resource.

In a release, IFA President and CEO Robert Cresanti said, “We are excited to be partnering with Bank of America Merrill Lynch for retirement plans. Not only does Bank of America Merrill Lynch offer world-class products like Merrill Edge and the Franchise Retirement Exchange, they are firmly committed to success in the franchise space. Working together as strategic partners, Bank of America Merrill Lynch will help us ensure our members have affordable and high-quality tools and guidance to plan and execute a prosperous retirement for themselves and their employees.”
