The TV personality and investor on ABC&rsquo;s Shark Tank, Daymond John, <a href="https://www.inc.com/dave-schools/6-key-insights-about-hustling-and-franchising-from.html?utm_source=1851franchise.com&utm_medium=article&utm_campaign=inc-magazine-why-daymond-john-prefers-franchises-2704086" target="_blank" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">spoke with Inc. Magazine</a> about how to succeed as a franchise entrepreneur as he prepares to be a guest judge at the NextGen Global Franchising Competition at the <a href="https://ifa.1851franchise.com/?utm_source=1851franchise.com&utm_medium=article&utm_campaign=inc-magazine-why-daymond-john-prefers-franchises-2704086" target="_blank" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">IFA&rsquo;s Annual Convention</a> in February 2018. John plans to announce and launch a new franchise company at the convention and explains that he prefers the franchise model over a corporate business model because of the intimacy franchising offers those involved.

&quot;Franchising is a more symbiotic relationship where you give an opportunity to other entrepreneurs and they run with it fueled by their own passion,&quot; said John.

While John would not provide details on the upcoming launch of his franchise business, he did mention it is in an industry that performs better than others as franchises. Lifestyle and fitness franchises are a great fit and offer a community for members&mdash;something you can&rsquo;t do on your phone or at home.
