The brand, which is known for having fresh, scratch-made menu items, will bring its<a href="http://famoustoastery.1851franchise.com/article_details/1689/Famous-Toastery-Thrives-Thanks-to-Rewarding-Business-Model?utm_source=1851franchise.com&utm_medium=article&utm_campaign=independent-tribune-famous-toastery-restaurant-coming-to-concord-1760" target="_blank" rel="nofollow" target="_blank"> restaurant concept</a> to the area for locals to enjoy.&#8220;This is a lifestyle brand. We serve the freshest possible breakfast and brunch and we can be home with our families by four o&#8217;clock,&#8221; Robert Maynard, co-founder of Famous Toastery, told the Independent Tribune.Robert Maynard is a restaurant veteran with a background that includes running restaurants open for 18 hours a day. After partnering with his best friend, Brian Burchill, the two started Famous Toastery in a small house in Hunstville, N.C. The two developed a loyal following by serving dishes such as a portabella mushroom benedict and avocado omelettes. They grew their business into three restaurants before franchising their concept in 2013.The Concord location is planned to open September 1, 2015. Maynard said other locations will be coming to Matthews, Winston-Salem, Myrtle Beach and Indian Land.
