MOOYAH Burgers, Fries & Shakes is preparing to open its first location in Jamaica Plain this year, and the Jamaica Plain News recently spoke with development agent Jay Hummer about the brand and their opening plans.

According to the article, the new MOOYAH will open on the corner of Columbus Avenue and Centre Street near the T station. Hummer said the restaurant should be open by April or May of this year.

The article also describes MOOYAH's menu offerings, and mentions the brand's emphasis on fun.

Said Hummer, “We’re excited for the [JP] location due to the residents and T riders, and the redevelopment that has brought more life to the area. We do burgers and fries really well and look forward to the people of Jamaica Plain and elsewhere really enjoying them, too!”
