According to a<a href="https://www.qsrmagazine.com/news/dan-markel-signs-100-unit-deal-expand-hummus-pita-co?utm_source=1851franchise.com&utm_medium=article&utm_campaign=jersey-mikes-franchisee-to-open-up-to-100-hummus-pita-co-locations-in-california-2708751" target="_blank" rel="nofollow" style="text-decoration:none" target="_blank"> recent article in QSR Magazine</a>, franchise industry veteran Dan Markel will be responsible for this expansion. The first of these openings is planned for 2019 in San Diego. 

&ldquo;The Hummus &amp; Pita Co. is the right concept, at the right time, and with unlimited growth potential. We will have 10-20 franchise partners building 5-10 locations each, and for the same fees and royalties they would normally pay, they also get our experienced team as added support. Real estate is quickly becoming a tenant&rsquo;s market, and we are targeting lower price conversions - which most franchisors don&rsquo;t allow&mdash;but my focus is setting-up my franchises to get the highest ROI possible,&rdquo; said Markel.
