Jimmy John’s enthusiasts who order food for delivery know that their meal will be delivered by a brand employee in a branded uniform - and the chain absolutely plans to keep it that way, according to a report in The Verge.

The sandwich brand wants everyone to know that it is officially against using third-party delivery services such as Grubhub and Uber Eats, unlike so many other players in the restaurant industry, according to the article.

“We want to control the experience from the fresh prep to the hand off to the customer,” Jimmy John’s CEO James North said in a statement, according to the article.
