After a successful test earlier this year, Kentucky Fried Chicken and Cheetos have decided to release the coveted Cheetos Sandwich nationwide, according to an article on QSR Beginning July 1, the cheesy twist on KFC’s Crispy Colonel sandwich will feature a special Cheetos sauce.

According to the article, “following the limited time launches of Pickle Fried Chicken, Kentucky Fried Chicken & Waffles and Cinnabon Dessert Biscuits, the KFC Cheetos Sandwich is another example of how KFC is continuing to take food innovation to new heights, creating delicious menu items that fans flock toward.”

“Chester Cheetah will be taking over Manhattan’s 14th St. KFC restaurant on Thursday, June 27, for an exclusive ‘All Orange Everything’ pop-up event, where consumers can try the sandwich for the first time, in advance of the in-restaurant availability, July 1,” the article continued.

Other items on the pop-up menu include: “Cheetos-fied KFC Hot Wings, Cheetos Loaded Fries and the KFC Mac and Cheetos Bowl,” according to the article.
