Here, it is more of a community feeling in the building.”Now nine years in, Patel says her school is at its strongest point yet. “The business has been doing well. We are probably at the best we’ve ever been now as far as enrollment and occupancy,” she said. “School life and the building are thriving. It’s the highest point so far in my experience as an owner.”<h2>Setting the Tone: Hands-On Leadership</h2>When it comes to a day in the life of a&nbsp;<a href="https://1851franchise.com/kla-schools/info">KLA Schools</a> franchise owner, Patel says each day begins with presence and connection. “I walk into the building, greet the teachers, say hello to everyone,” she said. “I meet my leadership team and we go over the day with the office staff, the director, going through what we have going on and any events that are coming up.”Patel also positions herself as a resource for her staff. “Sometimes we have teacher meetings if they want to chat. I am always available to talk with them,” she said. “I am probably one of the more hands-on owners. The babies that have started and have been here four or five years — we go beyond just being a school for them.
