KOLN 10/11 News: Tips to Make Moving Easier

“Moving is a hassle at best,” Jason Christenson, general manager of TWO MEN AND A TRUCK*® in Lincoln, Nebraska told KOLN 10/11 News. “It can be even more so when you have kids, so it’s good to keep them active, and keep them involved and keep them occupied so they don’t get bored or frustrated.”

Some of the games that parents and kids can play together include I Spy, Hide and Go Seek and basketball.

In addition to games that kids can play, Christenson shared some basic tips that people should know when moving.

“Take it easy, take it slow, and make sure you allow yourself plenty of time,” Christenson told KOLN 10/11 News. “Plan ahead; there are a lot of things you have to do that aren’t that physical. You have to arrange for your utilities to be moved. Call the electric company, call the phone company—do all that stuff so that you have plenty of time. That way when moving day comes, you’re as ready as can be and you can eliminate as much stress as possible.”
