Kona Grill has announced a change in its leadership team. According to a recent article in Nation's Restaurant News, the brand has selected co-creator Marcus Jundt and experienced industry veteran Steven Schussler to be co-CEO’s of the company. They will be taking over the position from Jim Kuhn, who held the title for three months. During his time as leader, the brand reported a 14 percent drop in same-store sales.

“The board of directors believes that the combined leadership and experience of Marcus and Steve will revitalize the Kona Grill brand as we focus on what has made this brand successful over the years,” said executive chairman, Berke Bakay.
