Lake Zurich Courier: GYMGUYZ Franchisee Receives "Fastest Ramp Up" Award

Local entrepreneur Tom Hirshberg was recently recognized as the GYMGUYZ “Fastest Ramp Up” franchisee for his outstanding work he has done transforming the lives of Barrington and Highland Park locals.
According to the Chicago Tribune's Lake Zurich Courier, Hirshberg’s recognition comes as he continues to book more than 300 training sessions a month throughout his first year and a half in business.
“I was using a personal trainer and the more I thought about incorporating physical workouts into one’s home, the more I believed it was a phenomenal idea,” Hirshberg told the publication. “When I started, it immediately took off. We now have six vans."
GYMGUYZ makes fitness accessible for locals by bringing their personal training service directly to the consumer. Hirshberg’s GYMGUYZ location serves Barrington and the nearby neighborhoods of Deerfield, Glencoe, Highland Park, Lake Zurich and Winnetka.
“Our customers are very diverse," added Hirshberg. “It offers convenience of a customized workout specifically for our clients."
