Brothers Bailey and Brandon Robertson will open five Lawn Squad territories, extending their growth journey within the Authority Brands family.

COLUMBIA, Md. — Lawn Squad, a premium lawn care franchise within the Authority Brands family, has signed existing Mosquito Squad Plus franchisees Bailey and Brandon Robertson to a five-territory Lawn Squad expansion in Birmingham, AL; Huntsville, AL; Dayton, OH; Chattanooga, TN; and Knoxville, TN.
The brothers originally entered franchising after careers spanning military service, operations leadership and logistics. Bailey served three years in the U.S. Army before working as an area manager at Amazon, while Brandon spent six years in the U.S. Marines and most recently served in the Army National Guard. Together, they also built a trucking business before moving into franchising.
“We were looking to diversify our portfolio and landed on pest control and mosquito control,” Bailey said. “When we evaluated multiple brands, Mosquito Squad Plus stood out because of its Franchise Disclosure Document strength, higher average revenue per territory and long-term track record.”
Since launching their Mosquito Squad Plus business, the brothers have grown to seven territories across Alabama, Tennessee, Ohio and Northern Kentucky, and built a leadership team that includes a dedicated operations manager and a vice president of sales with more than 25 years of lawn care and sales experience. Expanding their current business with Lawn Squad was a strategic next step.
“They are very complementary businesses,” Bailey said. “Over the last couple of years, we have noticed more and more customers liking the idea of bundling lawn care and pest control services. And so we wanted to bring that to the market where we can offer them both.”
The Robertsons mirrored their Lawn Squad territories with their existing Mosquito Squad Plus footprint, committing to five territories at once. Bailey cited confidence in Lawn Squad’s internal sales and customer service infrastructure, along with the brand’s onboarding and launch support, as key drivers behind the decision.
“Cost per lead keeps increasing across the industry,” Bailey said. “By offering multiple services, the lifetime value of each customer increases significantly.”
The brothers expect Lawn Squad to scale quickly due to their existing customer base, a new door-to-door sales program launching in Cincinnati and growing traction in commercial accounts.
“The Lawn Squad team has been great to work with,” Bailey said. “They have really good processes.” He said support from Lawn Squad and Authority Brands has helped as they launch and scale new territories.
With the foundation in place and multiple growth channels already in motion, the brothers say they are well positioned to continue expanding across both brands.
