The social network hopes to make business promotion through its app an easier process for small business owners.
After announcing 4 million active advertisers in September 2016, Facebook made another announcement no Monday reporting that it now has 5 million advertisers. According to a recent Mashable article, the social network will be creating and introducing new tools for the millions of advertisers and focusing on ways to improve the mobile experience.
"While technology has created amazing opportunities and benefits it can also be challenging for small business owners, especially when they’re trying to reach new customers," Shappley said. "We want to empower them in this mobile world."
Facebook would like to make advertising and promoting your business even easier via a smartphone. For example, now advertisers can repeat high-performing ads with one click in the app.
