The brand has introduced cheesy bacon fries to its menu in select cities as a &ldquo;regional limited-time-offer menu item&rdquo; available through the end of the year.

The menu addition is similar to the Cheese &amp; Bacon Loaded Fries available at Australian McDonald&rsquo;s locations, which were recently made available at the brand&rsquo;s <a href="https://1851franchise.com/mcdonalds-opens-futuristic-new-flagship-restaurant-in-chicago-2707453" style="text-decoration-line:none" target="_blank">new flagship restaurant in Chicago</a>.

While the fries cost $3.50, they&rsquo;re made with real cheddar cheese sauce and have ample bacon, <a href="https://www.mercurynews.com/2018/11/09/the-verdict-we-tried-mcdonalds-new-cheesy-bacon-fries/?utm_source=1851franchise.com&utm_medium=article&utm_campaign=mcdonalds-is-offering-cheesy-bacon-fries-in-select-markets-2708492" target="_blank" rel="nofollow" style="text-decoration-line:none" target="_blank">the San Jose Mercury News reported after a taste test</a>. While some are speculating that the brand may be teasing the item to test consumer interest in a nationwide rollout, McDonald&rsquo;s says the fries are simply a chance to add some regional spice to its menu, as it often does.
