Melting Pot, the 93-unit fondue franchise, is eyeing Memphis for a new location, reported The Daily Memphian. Though the brand is looking at the entire city, the areas of Massey Creek and Walnut Creek are of particular interest, according to Franchise Growth Strategist Collin Benyo

One of the reasons Melting Pot is looking at Memphis is due to the franchise’s 20-year partnership with St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital through its annual Thanks and Giving campaign.

“Our biggest push to try and get back (to Memphis) is the fact that we are a very big proponent and partners with St. Jude Children’s Hospital,” Benyo said. “We’re just looking to get back to be in [Memphis] because of our connection to everything great that the hospital is doing.”

Additionally, the franchise used a location intelligence platform called SiteZeus that Benyo says determined Memphis was an “incredible market” for the brand.

“We’ve seen the market segmentation that’s [in Memphis] that fits the profile of who we attract most frequently, anonymously, and most frequently and accurately around the United States,” Benyo said.
