Modesto Bee: Drink Up; Five New Craft Beer Bars Opening Across the Valley, Starting in Modesto

National craft beer concept The Brass Tap* recently signed a five-store contract in the Central Valley of California. With a mutual love of craft beer, new franchisees Rick and Kathy Sousa are excited to open their first location in Modesto in 2019. The area has a wide selection of craft breweries, something the Sousa's hope to tap into with their new beer bar.

“It’s amazing to see the diversity of what everyone’s palate is for beer,” Sousa said in an interview with the Modesto Bee. “Here we have the opportunity to tap into multiple breweries that have a lot of great products. We want to bring multiple breweries to one place for people.”
