MOOYAH Burgers, Fries & Shakes, a fast-casual, “better burger” chain is moving into Wisconsin in 2015 - the state's very first location. Located at 95 Moorland Road in Brookfield, Wis., this expansion is spearheaded by local entrepreneur Punit "John" Jaiswal, who has committed to opening three additional restaurants across the Badger State. “I am positive that residents of Brookfield and beyond will enjoy dining at MOOYAH as much as I do,” Jaiswal said. “There are a lot of burger lovers here in the cheese state, and I wanted to open a new and unique burger concept that would appeal to all Guests. I think MOOYAH’s food is phenomenal and the atmosphere of its restaurants is very welcoming; the brand fits Wisconsin perfectly.” Following the opening of his flagship restaurant, Jaiswal will continue to expand primarily in Milwaukee County and Waukesha County. Based on his extensive business experience, Jaiswal is poised for success in introducing the brand to the state. Jaiswal worked at a bank as a mortgage servicer for more than seven years before opening his first Subway franchise eight years ago. To this day, he has opened 10 Subway locations across the greater Milwaukee area, in addition to a gas station and liquor store. “We’re looking forward to offering a new dining option for friends and families across Wisconsin,” said Michael Mabry, Chief Operating Officer for MOOYAH. “MOOYAH’s commitment to quality of product and outstanding service make it the perfect fit for the Wisconsin market, and we’re confident in John’s ability to make a positive impression on new and existing MOOYAH Guests.” This opening is part of a larger growth strategy to deliver an American classic to new markets. In 2015, MOOYAH aims to continue expanding their presence across the country, with a focus on Atlanta, Phoenix, Minneapolis, Tampa-St. Petersburg, and Cincinnati.
