New Mosquito Hunters Franchisees Plan to Become Top Provider in Chicagoland
Ahmad and Zarina Abdeljawad started operations in Naperville, IL., in April.
When Ahmad and Zarina Abdeljawad signed on as Mosquito Hunters franchisees in March of this year, they had an exciting whirlwind of an experience. While some owners take a few months to build up their operations and get ready to open, the Abdeljawads acquired three existing territories, inheriting 350 active customers immediately.
The couple hit the ground running with operations a month later and have been doing well during their first six months of operations. They serve the west suburbs of Chicago with Mosquito Hunters of Hinsdale-Naperville-Bolingbrook-Downers Grove.
“Being that we took over an existing franchise, a lot of the work and beginning logistics had already been set up for us,” said Ahmad. “It was a great chance to just come in and be successful off the bat and really grow and expand it.”
Scaling their portfolio of businesses is definitely in the Abdeljawads’ plans for the future. They hope to add more Mosquito Hunters territories or look into the other options within the Happinest Brands network.
“There are so many different franchise options under Happinest, like ecomaids and Lawn Doctor, that later on down the road, if we are interested in expanding, we already have that contact and that relationship with them,” Zarina said. “The franchise team has been great to lean on for questions and solutions. They really are very helpful.”
“They’ve always been available to us and very open to connecting us with different franchise owners to reach out to. It's a family where you can learn from each other and find a lot of areas of support,” added Ahmad.
The pair have big goals for their operations. They hope to double their customer base and become the top provider of mosquito services in the Chicago area. Right now, they are focusing on building up their marketing efforts and getting a solid team of trained professionals in place.
“Our goal is to be the number one company in the Chicagoland area and to make sure our customers are happy and that we are providing quality customer service,” Ahmad said. “That is the main goal and what our focus is, and hopefully, that will lead to bigger growth for us.”
The total investment necessary to open a Mosquito Hunters franchise ranges from $89,187–$116,187. For more information on franchising opportunities with Mosquito Hunters, visit https://mosquitohuntersfranchise.com.
