A study found that when it comes to scheduling and training and accessing related materials, 57 percent of millennial hourly workers would prefer to use their personal mobile devices, according <a href="https://www.restaurantbusinessonline.com/workforce/study-restaurant-hourlies-want-use-their-own-phones-scheduling-training?utm_source=1851franchise.com&utm_medium=article&utm_campaign=most-millennial-hourly-workers-would-rather-use-personal-devices-for-scheduling-and-training-study-2709493" target="_blank" rel="nofollow" style="text-decoration-line:none" target="_blank">to a Restaurant Business report</a>. 

The study was completed by the digital workplace platform WorkJam and it polled 1,000 hourly employees in different industries, including hospitality and retail, according to the article. 

&ldquo;We&rsquo;ve come a long way from the days when personal devices were frowned upon in the workplace,&rdquo; the report stated, according to the article. &ldquo;Today, our smartphones enable us to do more, and employers who continue to bar their employees from using them are falling behind.&rdquo;
