Nashville Post: Working Within a System

Nashville's thriving franchise scene continues to grow.

Nashville's franchise industry is gaining momentum in the city as the number of entrepreneurs continues to increase and franchisors seek to establish a presence in the region.

Dan Aronoff of FranNet said the franchising community in Nashville, albeit small, is thriving and healthy.
 
"You have to be able to work with a system and follow rules," Aronoff told Nashville Post. "They're there because the franchisor wants to manage their brand's consistency and integrity."
 
He also noted that truly entrepreneurial individuals may not necessarily be a good fit for the franchise world.
 
"Folks who have worked in the corporate world succeed in franchising because they work exceptionally well in a system," Aronoff said.
Aronoff uses a proprietary assessment tool to assist in matching franchisees with the ideal franchisor.
