This menu addition comes as a continuation of the brand&#39;s QSR Plus strategy,&nbsp;which is focused on delivering premium ingredients to consumers. Queso Blanco will be free of all artificial colors, flavors and preservatives. So far, the strategy has had a major role in increasing Del Taco&#39;s sales.

CEO John Cappasola said,&nbsp;&quot;We&rsquo;ve had proven success with premium ingredient innovation in the past, including fresh sliced avocados and fresh-grilled Carne Asada steak, and we believe queso can play a similar role in our fourth quarter.&rdquo;&nbsp;
