Grubhub is making it easier for groups to use its app. According to Nation’s Restaurant News, Grubhub has partnered with Venmo, an app that allows friends to pay one another quickly and efficiently. Through this partnership, people will now be able to split the bill when ordering on Grubhub.

In a statement quoted by Nation’s Restaurant News, Sam Hall, Grubhub’s chief product officer, said, “Adding the ‘split the bill’ feature provides an additional level of convenience our diners have come to expect from us.”

Because Grubhub reports that more than 60 percent of its orders are placed on mobile devices, the brand says that partnering with Venmo is a natural next step as it works to make its app more user-friendly.
