Nation’s Restaurant News: Jamba CMO Debuts Fast-Casual Restaurant

A healthy fast-casual restaurant is Rachel Phillips-Luther’s newest project.

Jamba Juice CMO has another restaurant industry concept up her sleeve. According to a recent Nation’s Restaurant News article, Rachel Phillips-Luther and her husband, Mike Luther have opened a personal project call Up Inspired Kitchen, a healthful fast-casual restaurant that encourages daytime lingering.

Both having a background in the industry, the Luthers partnered with Todd Duplechan, chef and owner at Lenoir in Austin, Texas. The menu is inspired by trendy diets including Paleo, Whole 30 and gluten-free.

“When developing the concept of Up, we realized there were limited options in this healthier space among fast-casual restaurants,” said Phillips-Luther. “We wanted to prove that real food, honestly sourced with no processed ingredients, could still deliver on flavor. Breakfast should be about fueling up, not being weighted down with unhealthy additives.”
