The brand is taking steps to address current environmental challenges by eliminating plastic straw use.

On July 1st, the city of Seattle became the first U.S. city to ban the use of plastic straws. According to a recent article in Nation's Restaurant News, this law is forcing many restaurants to consider alternative options for their customers. McDonald's has been testing out paper straws, and plans to roll these out in select markets this September.
